The Rhumel River (Tamazight: ⴰⵎⵒⵙⴰⴳⴰ, also Rhummel, Rummel, El-Kebîrl; Arabic: وادي الرمال), in antiquity, the river was called Ampsaga.[1][2] is the largest river in the Constantine region of Algeria. In ancient times, the river was called Ampsaga.[3][4][5]
