Ricard (/rɪˈkɑːrd/; French pronunciation: [ʁikaʁ]) is a pastis, an anise and licorice-flavored apéritif, created by Marseille native Paul Ricard in 1932, who marketed it as the "true pastis from Marseille".[3]
