Shatananda (Sanskrit: शतानंद) was a Vedic sage and the chief priest at the court of the King Janaka in ancient Mithila. In the Valmiki Ramayana he is mentioned as the eldest son of the sage Maharshi Gautama and Devi Ahalya.[1][2]
