Shawn Z. Tarrant (born July 30, 1965) is an American politician who served as a Maryland State Delegate for the 40th legislative district from January 10, 2007, to January 14, 2015.[1] A member of the Democratic Party, he represented parts of Baltimore, Maryland. During his tenure, Tarrant served on the House Health and Government Operations Committee, including its Insurance Subcommittee, and was secretary of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland.
