Sikandar is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Salman Khan in the title role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.[2]
The film was officially announced on 10 April 2024, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr. Principal photography began in June in Mumbai and wrapped by January 2025. Its songs are composed by Pritam, while the background score is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Tirru handled the film's cinematography while its editing was handled by Vivek Harshan. With an estimated production budget of ₹400 crore, Sikandar is one of the most expensive Indian films of all time.[3][4]
Sikandar is scheduled to release worldwide on 28 March 2025 in theatres, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.
