Sonic the Hedgehog is an action-adventure comedy film series developed by Paramount Global and Sega Sammy Group. Based on Sega's video game series of the same name, it consists of three released films, with a fourth in production, and a spin-off TV series. The franchise has been primarily directed by Jeff Fowler, who directed all three films and the pilot of Knuckles (2024). The series has grossed $1 billion worldwide and received a generally positive critical reception.^[1]
