The Speaker of the People's Assembly of Syria, (Arabic: رئيس مجلس الشعب السوري, romanized: Raʼīs Majlis ash-Shaʻb as-Sūrī), is the chair of Syria's legislature.^[1] signed documents and spoke on its behalf.^[2] Throughout its history, the Speaker had been responsible for representing the legislature. As of 2024, 30 people have served as speakers.
