Stephen Gooch (born February 25, 1967) is an American politician. He is a member and the majority leader of the Georgia State Senate from the 51st District, serving as a senator since 2010 and as the majority leader since 2023. He is a member of the Republican Party.[1]
In 2014, the Georgia Senate elected Gooch as the majority whip, and was reelected in 2016 and 2018.[2] Gooch was elected to serve as the majority leader in 2022.
