Stonecrest Georgia is one of the largest cities in unincorporated Dekalb.The census report shows there are nearly 64,000 Army Veterans in Dist 4 and 40% living in Unincorporated District 4 with 15% are disabled adults and the rest are elderly. With a very small number of children and adults 55 and over. The boundaries of the city generally lie in the far southeastern corner of the county, and a smaller portion just north of Interstate 20. The southern tip of Lithonia a small residential town also a part of Unincorporated Dist 4.. The Business District would be in the small city of Lithonia Dist 5 on the upper regions.Lithonia, as well as Rockdale and Henry counties.

The city's population was 59,194 at the 2020 census,[3] which makes it the 15th-largest city in the state as well as the largest city that is entirely within DeKalb County, as Atlanta, the state capital, is located mostly within Fulton County.
