Sudhir Sachchidanand Mungantiwar (born 30 July 1962) is a legislator from the state of Maharashtra, India. He was cabinet Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries in Maharashtra Government from 2022-24.He has earlier served as the Cabinet Minister of Finance & Planning and Forests departments in the Government of Maharashtra,[1] Previously, he was the Maharashtra State President for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 2010 to 2013[2] and the Minister of Tourism and Consumer Protection in the Government of Maharashtra from 1995 to 1999.[3] In 2014, he was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly to serve for a fifth consecutive term.[4] He also holds additional charge as the Guardian Minister of Chandrapur and Wardha districts.[5] In March 2024, he was announced as the BJP candidate for the Chandrapur constituency in the 2024 General Elections.[6]
