Sun Group is an Indian media conglomerate, based in Chennai.[1][2] It was founded by Kalanithi Maran in 1992.[3] The Sun Group, besides television media, operates 48 FM radio stations,[4] two daily newspapers, five magazines, a DTH satellite service and T20 cricket franchises.
