A fact from Ateas appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 8 November 2006. The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that Ateas, the best attested king of the Scythians, was killed in a battle with Philip II of Macedon at the age of 90? In German Wiki version we see his name as ATAILΣ and on many coins of that time we can read ATAILΣ as the name of a king.

We read it like ATHEAS although we see there ATAILS!
