Tanay, officially the Municipality of Tanay (Filipino: Bayan ng Tanay IPA: [tɐˈnaɪ]), is a municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 139,420 people.[4]
It is the epicenter of the Tanay Tagalog dialect, which has the deepest modern Tagalog words in the Tagalog language and is the only endangered Tagalog dialect.
