Tatsuo Hirano (平野 達男, Hirano Tatsuo, born May 2, 1954) is a retired Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, and was formerly a member of the Democratic Party of Japan. He was formerly a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature).
