Tiran (Arabic: جزيرة ثيران Jezîret Tīrān,[3] Jazīrat Tīrān),[4] is a Saudi Arabian island in the Red Sea. It is located at the Straits of Tiran, which is named after the island.
The island is temporarily under Egypt administration until the announcement of its expected handover to Saudi Arabia.[1][2][5][6]
