United Airlines Flight 1382 is a regularly scheduled United Airlines flight from Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport to LaGuardia Airport in New York City. On February 2, 2025, an engine on the Airbus A319 operating the flight caught fire while taxiing for takeoff in Houston.[1] The crew aborted takeoff, and all 104 passengers and five crew were evacuated with no reported injuries.[2] The Federal Aviation Authority has stated that it will investigate the incident.[citation needed]
