My first edit was on March 27, 2003, to Keyboard instrument. I am one of the 100 longest-serving administrators on Wikipedia and one of the two longest-serving bureaucrats.
I was one of the proponents of the formation of the arbitration process and was one of the original members of the arbitration committee. After helping develop the arbitration policy, and participating in the first few cases, I resigned. I rejoined the committee after receiving the support of the community in the December 2006 election and remained a member until September 2008.
I was previously an active participant in, and administrator of the Volunteer Response Team, then known as OTRS.
I was a checkuser and oversight operator from 2006-2009.
