Certainly an impressive labour of love, and worthy of contributions by others. I hope to be among those in due course. My preliminary comment would be that the PAC and associated orgs need more acknowledgement, and also that the capitulation of the apartheid regime was in a context where the Cold War was ending, and where that regime had received a bloody nose in Angola, as well as experiencing depletion in its supply of recruits.
