The V/Line VLocity, sometimes called the VLocity 160,[a] is a diesel multiple unit train built by Bombardier Transportation and, later, by Alstom[1] in Dandenong for V/Line, the regional rail operator in the Australian state of Victoria. Continuously in production since 2003, the VLocity is the highest-speed train in the V/Line fleet, with a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph). As of January 2025[update], with set 127 about to enter service, 126 3-car sets were in revenue service, one collision damaged set was in storage, and 14 more were under construction[2] under the current contract for a total of 141 three carriage sets.
