Sir William Turner Thiselton-Dyer KCMG CIE FRS FLS (28 July 1843 – 23 December 1928) was a leading British botanist, and the third director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The standard author abbreviation Dyer is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.[1]
