Polipteredoj, Polypteridae, estas familio de arkaikaspektaj Aktinopterigoj kaj la nura familio en la ordo Polipteroformaj.^[1]

Ĉiuj specioj vivas en nesalakvaj habitatoj en tropika Afriko kaj la sistemo de la rivero Nilo, ĉefe en marĉecaj, neprofundaj inundebenaĵoj kaj estuaroj.

Polipteredoj estas konsiderataj frata grupo de ĉiuj aliaj nuntempaj Aktinopterigaj fiŝoj.^[2]^[3]
