Preondactylus bufarinii

Preondactylus est un genre éteint de ptérosaures à longue queue du Trias supérieur (début du Norien ou de la fin du Carnien), vivant il y a environ 228 millions années^[1].

Ce genre ne contient qu'une seule espèce connue, Preondactylus buffarinii, qui a été découverte par Nando Buffarini en 1982 près d'Udine dans la vallée de Preone des Alpes italiennes^[2]^,^[3].
