Techiman Municipal District be one of de eleven districts insyd Bono East Region, Ghana.[1][2] Na dem originally create am as an ordinary district assembly for 10 March 1989, wen na ebe known as Techiman District, til na dem split off de northern part of de district make dem create Techiman North District for 28 June 2012; thus na dem retain de part wey remain as Techiman District. Na dem later elevate am to municipal district assembly status wey na dem rename am as Techiman Municipal District for dat same year insyd. De municipality dey locate insyd de western part of Bono East Region wey e get Techiman as ein capital town.
