פקטור גדילה דמוי אינסולין 1 (באנגלית: Insulin-like growth factor 1, ובקיצור: IGF-1) הוא הורמון חלבוני טבעי המיוצר בעיקר בכבד, בעל מבנה דומה מאוד לאינסולין. להורמון חשיבות גדולה בגדילת ילדים. ההורמון מצוי בעיקר אצל ילדים ומתבגרים, ונמצא פחות אצל תינוקות ואצל מבוגרים. תכשירי IGF-1 משמשים לטיפול במקרים נדירים של גמדות מסוג תסמונת לרון, וכן כסם בלתי חוקי אצל ספורטאים^[5]. במחקר – מחלות נוספות שתכשיר זה עשוי אולי לסייע בטיפול בהן. בשנות ה-80 כונה הורמון זה בשם סומטומדין C‏ (‎Somatomedin C‏).
