Tarian Zapin (Jawi: زافين‎ tauka زاڤين‎) nya siti tanda asal bansa Melayu ba Nusantara rantau Asia Tenggara kelebih agi ba menua Indonesia (Sumatera, Pulau Riau, Bangka Belitung, Gorontalo), Jawa (Jakarta)[8][9], Semenanjung Melayu (kelebih agi ba Johor[10][11] , Perlis , Kedah , Kelantan , Pahang , Melaka dan Selangor), Singapura sereta Borneo (Sarawak[12], Sabah, Kalimantan enggau Brunei).

Tanda tu bisi inspirasyen ari peranakan Arab lalu penatai tanda tu dikumbai ari Yemen nengah orang bedagang ari nyin. Tanda tu ngasaika ubah ari sukut tukuh enggau ragam iya tinyadi tradisional agi dalam tukuh sereta dipelitik nengah tukuh mantaika iya nya jepin Arab enggau jepinMelayu.[13] Dalam konteks Jepin Melayu, orang Melayu ngenang iya nya siti tukuh main ti dikumbai "Main Zapin" tauka "Permainan Zapin".[14]
