Bakas, atau ular sawah darah^[2] (Python brongersmai) adalah sejenis ular tak berbisa sebangsa sanca (suku Pythonidae). Nama-nama lainnya, di antaranya, ular tepek (IPA: t[ə]p[ə]k); ular sanca darah, ular sanca pendek, ular sanca gendang, atau ular gendang saja. Dalam bahasa Inggris ia dikenal dengan sebutan Brongersma's short-tailed python, red short-tailed python, blood python, atau short python.

Sebelumnya ular ini dianggap sebagai salah satu dari tiga anak jenis Python curtus; akan tetapi kini ketiga-tiganya telah dianggap sebagai spesies yang berlainan.^[3]
