Suku Chechnya (bahasa Chechnya: Нохчий Nokhchiy; Chechnya Kuno: Нахчой Nakhchuoi) adalah sebuah kelompok etnis Kaukasia dari suku-suku Nakh yang berasal dari wilayah Kaukasus Utara di Eropa Timur. Mereka menyebut diri mereka Vainakhs (yang artinya "suku kami" dalam bahasa Chechnya) atau Nokhchiy (dibaca [no̞xtʃʼiː]). Chechnya dan suku Ingush secara kolektif dikenal sebagai Vainakh. Kebanyakan orang Chechnya sekarang tinggal di Republik Chechnya, sebuah subdivisi Federasi Rusia.
