Mary Harriman Rumsey (New York, 17 novembre 1881 – Washington, 18 dicembre 1934) è stata un'attivista, funzionario governativo statunitense; come democratica fu la fondatrice della Junior League for the Promotion of Settlement Movements,[1] in seguito nota come Junior League of the City of New York dell'Association of Junior Leagues International Inc,[2] e fu presidente del Consumer Advisory Board della National Recovery Administration.[3] Mary era figlia del magnate delle ferrovie E.H. Harriman e sorella di W. Averell Harriman,[4] ex Governatore dello Stato di New York e diplomatico degli Stati Uniti. Nel 2015 è stata inserita postuma nella National Women's Hall of Fame[5].
