Metal è l'unico EP del gruppo musicale statunitense Newsted, pubblicato l'8 gennaio 2013 dalla Chophouse Records, etichetta discografica fondata da Jason Newsted.[2]
Il disco è stato prodotto dallo stesso Newsted con l'aiuto di Frank Munoz, ed è stato registrato, missato e masterizzato da Anthony Focx ai Creation Lab Studio tra il 5 e il 12 ottobre 2012.[1]
Il disco ha venduto oltre 6 200 copie nella prima settimana di vendite, oltre ad aver debuttato alla posizione 62 nella Billboard 200.[3]
