Wit anggur iku kalebu jinis woh-wohan non-climacteric (ora usum-usuman). Tuwuh minangka tuwuhan kang tahan urip mataun-taun (perennial) lan wujud wit grumbul kang mrambat (deciduous woody vine), saka génus Vitis.[1] Woh anggur bisa dipangan mentahan utawa digawé jam, jus, jèli, cuka anggur, ombènan anggur lan lenga wiji anggur.[2] Anggur tuwuh nggrombol wiwit 6 nganti 300, lan wernané bisa ireng, biru, emas, ijo, ungu, abang, jambon,coklat, peach (jambon kekuningan), utawa putih.[1] Senajam mangkono, anggur "putih" sajatiné warna ijo, nanging kanthi alon-alon malih rupa sing asalé saka anggur abang.[2] Mutasi saka loro gèn kang temata ngendhegaké produksi anthocyanin, yaiku zat sing marahi rupané anggur dadi abang.[3].
