Sceletus[1][2] (ab adiectivo Graeco σκελετός 'siccatus'), vel in vocabulario anatomico sceletum,[3] est in lingua communi durum systema in corpore vertebratorum, super quod musculi, ligamenta, et cutis tenduntur. In biologia et palaeontologia alia systemata functionem similem habentia etiam sceleta nominantur.
