De Belgische Antarctische expeditie, onder leiding van Adrien de Gerlache op het schip de Belgica, was de eerste expeditie die (ongepland) overwinterde in de Antarctische regio.[1] Ze vormde het begin van de Heroïsche Tijd van Antarcticaverkenningen.
