Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two) is een lied geschreven in 1892 door de Britse liedjesschrijver Harry Dacre.[1] Het lied zou geïnspireerd zijn door Daisy Greville, gravin van Warwick, een van de vele minnaressen van koning Edward VII.[2][3]
Het is het eerste nummer dat in 1961 door de IBM 704 met behulp van computerspraaksynthese werd gezongen, een prestatie waarnaar werd verwezen in de film 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).[bron?]
