Editors is een Britse indierockband, bestaande uit Tom Smith (zang/gitaar), Russell Leetch (basgitaar), Ed Lay (drums), Justin Lockey (gitaar) en Eliott Williams (keyboards, gitaar). Tot april 2012 maakte ook gitarist Chris Urbanowicz deel uit van de band.
Het debuutalbum The Back Room, met als bekendste single "Munich", werd in 2005 uitgebracht en werd genomineerd voor een Mercury Music Prize. Het vervolgalbum, An End Has a Start, kwam in 2007 uit en bevatte onder meer de hitsingle "The Racing Rats". Later werden ook nog de albums In This Light and on This Evening (2009), The weight of your love (2013), In dream (2015) en Violence (2018) uitgebracht.
