Macropipidae is een familie uit de infraorde krabben (Brachyura). Tot deze familie behoort één soort (de Fluwelen zwemkrab) die voorkomt voor de Belgische en Nederlandse kust. Vroeger werd deze familie als een onderfamilie van de Portunidae beschouwd.[2]
