Xiu Xiu[1][2] is een Amerikaanse experimentele band, opgericht in 2002 door singer-songwriter Jamie Stewart[3] in San Jose (Californië). Momenteel bestaat de bezetting uit Stewart (het enige constante lid sinds de oprichting) en Angela Seo[4]. De naam van de band komt van de film Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl en heeft volgens Stewart het geluid van hun muziek beïnvloed.
