Martha and the Vandellas (i perioden 1967 til 1972 Martha Reeves and the Vandellas) var ei av dei mest suksessrike gruppene til plateselskapet Motown Records sine mange artistar i perioden 1963–1967. I motsetnad til andre Motown-grupper, som The Supremes og The Marvelettes, var Martha and the Vandellas kjende for ein meir aggressiv rhythm and blues-lyd, som blant anna fann uttrykk i songane «(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave», «Jimmy Mack» og i signatursongen «Dancing in the Street».[1] Gruppa spelte inn innan sjangrane doo-wop, R&B, pop, blues, rock og soul.
Gruppa fekk 26 hittar i perioden frå 1963 til 1972. 10 av dei nådde Top 10 på Billboard si R&B-singelliste, og to av dei nådde førsteplassen. Tolv songar nådde Topp 40 på Billboard Hot 100, av desse var seks i Top 10, m.a. «Dancing in the Street», «Heat Wave», «Nowhere to Run» og «Jimmy Mack».
