New Riders of the Purple Sage er eit USA-amerikansk countryrockband. Gruppa oppstod frå det psykedeliske rockemiljøet i San Francisco i California i 1969, og den originale besetninga bestod av fleire medlemmar frå Grateful Dead.[1] Bandet er stundom kalla New Riders eller NRPS.
