The Marcels var ei USA-amerikansk doo-wop-gruppe kjend for å gjere eldre popsongar om til rock and roll. Gruppa vart skipa i 1959 i Pittsburgh i Pennsylvania og fekk platekontrakt hos Colpix Records med førstestemma Cornelius Harp, bassen Fred Johnson, Gene Bricker, Ron Mundy og Richard Knauss. Gruppa vart kalla opp etter ein populær hårfrisyre på den tida, marcel wave,[1][2] av den yngre systera til Fred Johnson, Priscilla.
