The Stooges (òg kjend som Iggy and The Stooges) er eit amerikansk rockeband frå Ann Arbor i Michigan. Dei var først aktive frå 1967 til 1974 og igjen frå 2003 og fram til i dag. Sjølv om dei selde å plater då dei heldt på og ofte spelte føre likegyldige og fiendtlege publikum, vert the Stooges i stor grad rekna som særs viktige for opphavet til punkrock, i tillegg til at dei påverka alternativ rock, heavy metal og rockemusikk generelt.[1][2] The Stooges vart innlemma i Rock and Roll Hall of Fame i 2010.[3]
