Robert Jay Mathews (n. 16 ianuarie 1953, Marfa – d. decembrie 8, 1984, insula Whidbey) a fost un terorist neonazist de origine americană și lider al grupului The Order, o organizație supremacistă militantă.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] Mathews a ars de viu în timpul conflictului armat cu aproximativ 75 de agenți guvernamentali care i-au încercuit casa din Insula Whidbey, lângă Freeland, Washington.[3][8] Viața lui Mathews a inspirat regizarea filmului Betrayed în 1988 și a filmului Brotherhood of Murder[9] în 1999.[10][11]
