Despite nou being a suburb o Coventry, several oreeginal biggins hae survived frae when the aurie wis a separate veelage.

Maist o the auld veelage, nearest the kirk, is a conservation aurie on a law ridge o heich grund atween the River Sherbourne an the Pickford Brook, a tributary.
