The seembol o the Coat o airms o Sirie (Arabic: شعار سوريا‎) is the Sirian hawk o "hawk o Qureish",^[1] which haulds a shield o the naitional banner (in vertical form), an a scroll wi the wirds "Sirian Arab Republic" (in Arabic الجمهورية العربية السورية). The "eagle o Saladin" wis uised insteid durin the Unitit Arab Republic period.
