Lipovec (pronounced [ˈliːpɔvəts]; German: Lipowitz[2]) is a smaw veelage east o Dolenja Vas in the Municipality o Ribnica in soothren Slovenie. The aurie is pairt o the tradeetional region o Lawer Carniola an is nou includit in the Sootheast Slovenie Statistical Region.[3]
A smaw chapel-shrine in the centre o the dounset is dedicatit tae the Virgin Mary an wis built aroond 1930.[4]
