As o the 2010 census the population o the ceety o Nashville, nae includin the semi-independent municipalities, stood at 601,222.[4] The population o Davidson Coonty as a whole, includin aw municipalities, wis 626,681.[2] Nashville is the seicont lairgest ceety in Tennessee, efter Memphis, an the fowerth lairgest ceety in the Sootheastren Unitit States.
