The 2008 Yemen floods took place on October 23, leaving 65 dead and 20,000 without shelter.[1] The Yemeni governorates of Hadhramaut, Lahij, Al Mahrah and Ta'izz were affected the worst by the floods, and most of the deaths were in Hadhramaut.[2]
