John Elwood "Bud" Clark, Jr. (December 19, 1931 – February 1, 2022)[1] was an American politician and businessman. He served as Mayor of Portland, Oregon, from 1985 to 1992. A leftist populist with little political experience before his mayoral bid, he was one of Portland's most colorful political figures.[2]
Clark died on February 1, 2022 in Portland, Oregon from congestive heart failure, aged 90.[3]
