Lila Diane Sawyer (born December 22, 1945) is an American television broadcast journalist who became the first female newscaster on the CBS television news program 60 Minutes.[1] She was a co-anchor of ABC's morning news program Good Morning America,[2] and was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight until 2014.[1] She became anchor in 2009 after Charles Gibson left the news.[2]
