Duane Bryers

Duane B. "Dick" Bryers (July 2, 1911 – May 30, 2012, Tucson, Arizona) was an American painter, illustrator, and sculptor.^[1][2] Dyers created the pinup girl Hilda. Hilda appeared in calendars from the mid-1950s to 1980s.^[3]

Unlike other pin-up grils Hilda is not slim. She looks like a normal woman. Today, models who look like Hilda are called plus-size models.
