Estavayer-le-Lac [estavaje l(ə) lak][2] (Arpitan: Thavalyi-le-Lé (help·info)[3]) was a municipality of the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. It is on the south shore of Lake Neuchâtel and is between Yverdon and Bern. It was the capital of the district of Broye.
